Courses
Basic & Advanced Sniper schools both four day/ 50 hour courses.
Both courses are New Mexico DPS Police Officer Standard Training (POST) approved. The Basic course is NM DPS #NM08151X & the Advanced course is #NM 08151W.
In the basic course you will learn weapons safety, cleaning, weapons manipulations, range cards, ballistics, minute of angle, range estimations, rapid fire ,angle shooting, positional shooting, wind estimation, unknown distance shooting, bobbing targets, glass& barrier penetration. Teaching of shooting skills out to 750yds.
Advanced class will cover all aspects of the basic plus Spec War hold overs, moving & bobbing targets, in depth Mil Dot applications for shooting using the mil dot reticle or the TMR reticle. Teaching of shooting skills out to 1000yds.
